Summer Love

Why the name Summer Love?  Well, it’s a feeling. The feeling you get when you feel the warm summer sun on your skin, you are relaxed, content, and have taken the moment to be present.  When else have I felt this?  Holding my babies.  Not surprising then that I named my third daughter Summer.

 Is parenthood exciting and magical, yes!  Is it like this every day?  Ah, No.  It is certainly not all “sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows everywhere”, but that is where I come in… Through my business, I aim to empower families by sharing all the knowledge I have gathered over the years in order to make everything 'baby' that bit easier. By being there to give you education and support, I hope you get to feel a little more Summer Love.  Looking forward to supporting you and your family.

Summer Love was one of the highlights of my pregnancy. Being a first-time mum I was worried that antenatal classes at the hospital only covered the labour, and very little about after the baby comes home. Sara put my mind at ease, she is incredibly knowledgeable and the information was delivered in an easy-to-understand way. I went into my induction with ease as Sara had expertly outlined the procedure in one of our classes. She was there for me through the whole process and answered every question I had. In my first months of being a new mum, I was so glad to have been able to join the Summer Love group. Public mum's groups wouldn't start until my little one would turn 6 months. But I found that especially in the early months, I needed the support, help, and chats with other mums much more than later on. There are so many questions and worries having a newborn baby for the first time. I feel very supported by Sara and felt comfortable to ask all of the questions that I had and talk about struggles along the way. And most important my baby enjoyed the activities and meeting other mums and babies as well. I can only recommend Summer Love to every Mum And Bub!

Sara was my saving Grace when my daughter would not let anyone but myself put her to sleep and even then it was a struggle. She helped us to be able to get my daughter to let others put her to bed and self-settle. She was then sleeping through the night and life was less stressful. Thank you so much Sara!
